The curriculum in the reception classes builds on the early learning programme. It provides a fun and exciting learning opportunities that further develop important skills, knowledge and attitudes to learning. The Montessori learning method allows children to develop independence, confidence, curiosity, friendship, co-operation and resilience.

The boys and girls, who enter the Montessori environment from three years, have their own daily routine and are taught by a team of experienced and fully qualified staff.

They are taught the basics of responsibility which develop self- discipline and a caring attitude to others. In the Montessori, we offer a broad-based curriculum paying attention to the foundation skills for reading, writing and number work. The guidelines for creative learning are followed and every child benefits from a friendly environment, where he or she receives close personal attention and a considerable amount of encouragement. Montessori follows a holistic development programme with a special focus on phonetics, phonograms, homophones and arithmetic.
