It also stands for Saint Theresa’s English Medium School, named after St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus, the Patron Saint of the Diocese of Guntur Society. Since 1940, the Diocese of Guntur Society has been a torchbearer of quality education across the Guntur district, consistently upholding excellence, ethics, and service. With the launch of STEM School, the Diocese reaffirmed its commitment to providing international-standard education rooted in faith, values, and human dignity to the children of Guntur City. STEM School was inaugurated on 2nd June 2016 by His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Gali Bali, the then Bishop of Guntur, with an initial strength of 150 students from LKG to Class V. On 8th September 2016, His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Chinnabathini Bhagyaiah, Bishop of Guntur, succeeded Bishop Gali Bali and presently serves as the Chairman and President of the school. His visionary leadership, sagacious guidance, and unwavering commitment to educational excellence have played a decisive role in the institution’s rapid progress, making him a distinguished educationalist and an inspiring leader.

Rev. Fr. Yeruva J. R. Bharat Reddy, the present Principal and Correspondent, assumed charge on 2nd June 2019, succeeding Rev. Fr. Yeruva Lourdhu Marreddy (Jr.), the First Correspondent of STEM School. Rev. Fr. Marreddy’s vision and dynamism laid a strong foundation for excellence. Under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Bharat Reddy, the school has witnessed a remarkable transformation through progressive administrative reforms, infrastructure enhancement, and innovative academic practices. His leadership places Happiness and Wellbeing at the heart of education, ensuring that students, teachers, and parents grow together as one nurturing community.

In recognition of his continuous efforts to make STEM School truly future-ready through love, care, and vision, Rev. Fr. Bharat Reddy was conferred the prestigious EduLeader Award by Brainfeed Magazine. This honour reflects his unwavering commitment to holistic education, student wellbeing, teacher empowerment, and parent partnership.

Within a short span of ten years, through the concerted efforts of the management and dedicated faculty, the student strength grew to 1050.
